Women Education Leaders in Virginia is expanding its reach within the local education community through our Ambassador and Affiliate programs.

Goals to expand the mission and vision of WELV through:

• the expansion of the Ambassadors and Affiliates program
• sharing information about WELV at all professional conferences
• WELV business cards
• flyers
• brochures
• other literature
• maintaining an active social media presence
• enhancing Ambassadors and Affiliates work by ensuring their social media presence and links to the main WELV webpage

The WELV Ambassadors Program provides an opportunity for individual women leaders to lead outreach efforts for WELV, and help spread the core mission of the organization.

WELV Local Affiliates were initiated in the fall of 2013, when a of women educators from Fredericksburg decided to form a local “affiliate” chapter of WELV called “Women in Leadership,” or WILd.
