Hello Leader and Welcome to the Women Education Leaders in Virginia (WELV) website. This site has been created to share the exciting opportunities to connect and network with women leaders in the education field across Virginia. For the past 20 years, WELV has been at the forefront of how and why women lead in Virginia and provide a forum for women leaders to support one another. WELV members are posed to address the gender gap in educational leadership and nurture future women leaders to follow in the footsteps of current leaders.

As your President, I look forward to expanding WELV’s goal of providing mentors for aspiringleaders. Please be sure to visit our site often to learn more about how you can become more active in WELV.
